I keep trying to devise easier ways to do this trick, but none seem to have the long term durability of a good 'ol RC car servo, modded appr.

Every single off-the-shelf "auto-winding" mag has failed that I've owned, but a cobbled-up M14/toy car part goes forever.

"Nothing is more permanent than a temporary repair."
My Dad used to say that, and it's true.
Look at some of those "There, I fixed it" pics, and analyze why they sometimes look like they actually WORK...
